Ch09 of Simple Faith Many believers struggle with how God views them, often fearing His anger when they fail to achieve perfection. They perceive an angry God based on their own feelings or religious beliefs. However, the Bible emphasizes that God’s primary desire is to rescue us, and pour His perfection into our lives. While human effort and works of the flesh cannot achieve perfection, believers are declared perfect through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Rather than viewing God as an angry judge, Christians should see Him as a loving Father who pulls us out of the sin that entangles us, carries us, sets us onto a firm foundation, and delights in leading us into spiritual maturity and teaching us how to receive His righteousness, which conquers our weaknesses.
