God Doesn’t Condemn Weakness – Lesson 3

Chapter three of the book, Weakness is Your Greatest Strength.

We look at the weaknesses we struggle with and think that God is angry or disappointed in us because we can’t straighten our lives out. God wants you as you are, and only asks one thing of you – faith – trusting in Him, knowing His grace is sufficient for you. The things we think are hindering us is not what rules us. It is us trying to step into God’s role that hinders us. It’s His job to transform, and instead of condemning our failures, God uses our failures to teach us how to get out of the way so He can work in us, and then through us.

Weakness is an Asset – Lesson 1

Video lesson for Chapter 1 of the book, Weakness is Your Greatest Strength.

Most believe that weakness equals failure, but weakness is the open door to receiving the power of God. This chapter looks at how God used Moses’ failure to prepare him for leadership. The Apostle Paul believed his weaknesses were a hindrance to his life and ministry until God revealed that these areas of weakness were areas where God could empower Paul without the barrier of his human limitations. He learned the promise that, when I am weak, the power of Christ rests upon me. This change of perspective changes everything.

Just Released-Weakness is Your Greatest Strength

Weakness Is Your Strength Image

Most believe weakness is a failure, but the Bible presents it as a great asset. The Apostle Paul discovered this truth and stated, “When I am weak, then I am strong. In my infirmities, the power of God rests upon me.” Weakness is the call to step out of the limitations of human ability, and into the unlimited power of God. The Christian life is rarely understood because God first calls us to let go of self-reliance before we can lay hold of the life God has prepared for us. The Bible is filled with examples of God stripping away personal strength so He can unveil His power in His people. Those who learn to trust Him completely, without holding on to personal effort, discover the promise of a fulfilled life with purpose and power through the power of the Spirit.
